C
Oh, I'll pine with my mangoes
G C
and waving black hair
C
With the roses so red
G C
and the lillies so fair
---
G C
and the myrtle so bright
F C
with the emerald dew
C
The pale and the leader
G C
and eyes with black-blue
---
---
I will feign I will sing
and my love shall be gay
I will charm every heart
in this ground I will sway
---
When I open my dreaming
my eyelids will play
an ocean of love
that has long gone away
---
Repeat INTRO
---
Oh he taught me to love him
and promised to love
and to cherish me over
all others above
---
How, my heart is now hungering
,no misery can tell
He's left me wanting
with, no words of farewell
---
Oh, he taught me to love him
and called me his flower
that was blooming to cheer him
through his dreary hour
---
Oh, I long to see him
and regret the dark hour
he's gone and neglected
this pale wild wood flower.

REMARKS

You can enlarge the photos of my cartunes by clicking on them. Sorry, I don't have the html skills for you to control the size generated. You can also copy and paste and then crop the cartune graphic ;-)
Now, my idiographic cartunes may suggest some explanation.
First, the Fretting Fractions:
The numerator is the string number & the denominator is, hopefully a possible fret number.
Second, the terrible fret cartunes. Sometimes it's easier for me that way.
Third, I'll try to be neater in the future, but that may take a long time , since I'm sort of messy
and I never imagined that such a neat media as this would be available !
If anybody interested in playing "by ear" would like, I can e-mail pentatonic scales and relevant major chord fingerings/ chord formations in the cartune fashion. If you wan't Fretting Fractions, you might be on your own, as they have a marked tendency to make me sick. So does tablature. But any fake is Faking it!.
Say Hi, It' a blog so I'll try to get back to you.
